How it was made
Each half is thrown as a wide bowl. When both are leather-hard they are scored, slipped and pressed together, then the seam is thrown smooth.
In the kiln
Big pots crack if they dry unevenly, so this one spent two weeks under plastic before its first firing.

Food safe and dishwasher safe. Every glaze firing is different, so yours may differ slightly from the photo.
