How it was made
The body was thrown as a closed sphere and the neck pulled up from the top, the slowest shape we make.
In the kiln
Shino is applied thick and fired slowly. Carbon from the flame gets trapped in it early, which is where the grey patches come from.

Food safe and dishwasher safe. Every glaze firing is different, so yours may differ slightly from the photo.
